Monthly Meeting May
Building Our Village: May’s Meira Moon Motherhood Meeting Recap
This month’s Meira Moon Collective gathering was rooted in something we deeply value: maternal mental health. We based our entire meeting on the SOS Toolkit we created for mothers: a resource designed to help moms pause, reconnect, and feel supported during the moments that feel too heavy to carry alone.
The SOS Toolkit isn’t just a collection of tips; it’s a gentle reminder that you're not alone. It's a reflection of the real-life needs we see in our community. These are tools that help when emotions feel overwhelming, when your nervous system needs a reset, or when you just need a minute to remember who you are outside of motherhood.
We were also honored to have Kalena, of Take Back Fitness, as our guest speaker. Kalena shared powerful insight into the connection between mental and physical health, and how movement can be a form of reclaiming your body and energy in motherhood. She didn’t just talk to us — she spoke our language as mothers.
Even more exciting? Kalena has partnered with us to create an exclusive online fitness program for our Meira Moon community — designed specifically for moms. Whether you’re postpartum, overwhelmed, or simply looking for accountability in a way that feels good again, this program brings movement and community together in a gentle, empowering way.
As always, we ended the evening with space to connect, reflect, and be reminded that we’re not meant to do this alone.
If you couldn’t make it this month — you were missed. And if you’re new here, this is your invitation to join us. Whether you’re thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between, you have a place here. Your village is waiting.
