A Mother’s Eye View

There’s something incredibly powerful about putting the camera in a mother’s hands.

This past weekend, we hosted our very first Mother’s Eye View workshop—an intimate, hands-on experience designed to teach moms how to photograph their everyday moments with more confidence and heart. What unfolded was more than just a class. It was connection. Curiosity. A space where creativity and motherhood could meet without pressure.

We gathered in a cozy light-filled studio, where little ones played, posed (a little), and mostly just existed in their beautiful, unfiltered ways. Our attendees learned simple techniques for finding natural light, guiding with intention instead of perfection, and editing with a soft, nostalgic touch.

This workshop wasn’t about becoming a professional photographer. It was about creating art out of the ordinary. About reclaiming the narrative of motherhood from behind the phone lens instead of taking photos just for the sake of photographing every single moment.

We believe that every mother deserves to feel empowered to tell her family’s story in her own way. And this weekend proved that with a little guidance and a lot of heart, that’s exactly what happens.

Stay tuned—we’ll be offering more workshops soon, along with new ways to keep learning, growing, and capturing the sacred in the everyday.
