Meira Moon Collective Is Growing Into Something Different (And We Think Better)
When we first dreamed up Meira Moon Collective, it wasn't about a building.
It wasn't about four walls, pretty furniture, or having a permanent place to gather.
It was about mothers.
It was about creating a space where women could walk in exactly as they are—tired, joyful, overwhelmed, healing, celebrating, surviving—and know they didn't have to carry motherhood alone.
Recently, we made the difficult decision to close our studio space.
If we're being honest, there was some sadness in that decision. That studio held conversations we'll never forget, tears that didn't need fixing, babies passed from one set of loving arms to another, and friendships that began over coffee and shared stories.
But sometimes growth doesn't look like adding more.
Sometimes it looks like letting go of what no longer serves the bigger mission.
And that's exactly where we find ourselves.
Motherhood Was Never Meant to Be Behind One Door
As we talked about what came next, we kept coming back to one question:
How do we make connection easier—not harder?
The answer surprised us.
Instead of rebuilding another studio, we're taking Meira Moon back to what it was always meant to be: a community.
One that can gather wherever life happens.
A local coffee shop.
A park.
A bowling alley.
A craft night around a table covered in paint and half-finished projects.
A picnic blanket while our kids chase bubbles.
A restaurant where no one judges if dinner gets interrupted by stories about potty training or middle school drama.
Because motherhood doesn't only happen inside a studio.
It happens everywhere.
Membership Is Now Free
One of the biggest changes we're making is that Meira Moon Collective membership is now completely free.
We never want cost to be the reason a mom feels like she has to stay home alone.
If you need community, you belong here.
We'll continue sharing upcoming gatherings and meeting locations through our Facebook page, making it easy for you to join whenever you're able.
Whether you come every month or once every few months, you'll always have a seat with us.
More Connection. Less Pressure.
You'll probably notice our gatherings looking a little different.
Yes, we'll still have meaningful conversations.
But we're also making room for simple fun.
Think...
Craft nights
Bowling nights
Coffee meetups
Seasonal outings
Creative workshops
Casual dinners
Mom nights out where you laugh until your cheeks hurt
Sometimes the deepest friendships aren't formed during perfectly planned events.
Sometimes they're built while painting pottery, cheering each other on at the bowling alley, or sitting in a booth long after the food is gone because no one is ready to leave.
That's the kind of community we want to build.
This Is Only the Beginning
Closing the studio isn't the end of Meira Moon Collective.
It's simply the next chapter.
One with fewer walls and more room for everyone.
We hope you'll join us as we continue creating a community where motherhood is shared, where friendships grow naturally, and where every mom knows she doesn't have to figure this season out by herself.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page for upcoming events and gathering locations.
Whether this is your very first time joining us or you've been with us since the beginning, we're so glad you're here.
Because motherhood was never meant to be done alone.
And neither should community.
